Help Us Bring An Orphaned Baby Home From Kazakhstan
My husband, Greg, and I are adopting a baby from Kazakhstan. Kazakh orphans live in crowded baby houses. Though they are well cared for by the baby house attendants, it is not the same as having a loving family to nurture and care for all of the growing infant's needs. Help us be that family!
Help kids at the YMCA!
The San Francisco YMCA does an awesome job of helping kids at risk in the Bay Area. The YMCA also has programs to help fight substance abuse, outreach to the elderly and new immigrants. Help me raise money so the YMCA can continue their good work.
Fund a Subscription to the Beat Within for a local teen shelter
The Beat Within is a weekly literary magazine put out by youth in juvenile detention centers. The writing and artwork in the 'zine is amazing. I'd like to donate a subscription to a local teen shelter to remind teens of the power of sharing their voices.
